Welcome to the Boston Puerto Rican Center for Population Health and Health Disparities

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has proposed a mission to reduce and eliminate health disparities among the nation's racial and ethnic minorities.

Hispanics, in particular, have been shown to be at risk for several chronic conditions. The Boston Puerto Rican Center for Population Health and Health Disparities is investigating relationships between stress and its effect on overall health.
